<Sigh> Me and hummingbirds...it's a long, contrived story that began when I got my DSLR almost 3 years ago. The thing is, they mock me. Oh yeah, these little buggers hide from me when I have a telephoto zoom on my camera and am waiting, and taunt me when I have a) a point and shoot or b) no camera. So today I took a short stroll during lunch (it was a beautiful 75 degrees here in Southern California today), and was taking some photos with my point and shoot that I have with me at all times. I found a very nice squirrel I thought about having as my subject. I found some pretty leaves. Then I heard the unmistakable call of the hummingbird ( it goes like this "Chirp! You don't have your big lens now! Look at me! nah nah nah nah nah!").
